Dear Clara Hughes Community,

Hope you have had some time to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!

Thank you for supporting us with your children.  We need to work together to make sure our children are safe at school.  Please remind your children of the following things;

  • We have a hands-off/feet off policy.  They should not be touching other students or their belongings
  • Use your WITS (ask your child about this)
  • If you see something, say something
  • Be kind and respectful always to peers and adult

SCC Meeting

Our last SCC meeting for this school year will be held on Thursday May 26, 2022 @ 7 p.m.  This will be a virtual meeting and a Google Meet link will be sent at 6:30 on May 26, 2022.  We hope to see you there!

Lunch Room Supervisors Needed

We are looking for community members who would like to work at our school as a Lunchroom Supervisor!  If you like working with students, it is a great way to become a part of our school community.  If you are interested, please contact the school office for more information

May 13 Ascension (Christianity)

Ascension, in Christian belief, the ascent of Jesus Christ into heaven on the 40th day after his Resurrection (Easter being reckoned as the first day).

International Day of Families

The 15th of May was declared the International Day of Families by the United Nations on September 20, 1993. The day is intended to reflect the importance the international community places on families as basic units of society. The day is intended to be taken as an occasion to reflect on and promote awareness and action with regard to issues relating to families worldwide
